Hidden away, but just off the historic Broad Street, is Posthorn Cottage.
On the ground floor of the cottage, the entrance leads into a small entrance hall which in turn opens onto an oak-beamed staircase, with a dining/sitting room leading off to the right. This attractive room, which features a wooden floor and open fireplace overlooks the private patio area. Comfortably furnished with dining table and chairs, easy chairs, radio/CD player and flat screen TV.
A well-equipped kitchen leads off the dining room. Appliances include a full size electric cooker with extractor fan, washing machine, fridge with small freezer section and microwave.
Stairs from the entrance hall lead to the first floor. Leading off the first floor landing are two bedrooms (one twin bedded and one double) and a bathroom which is fitted with both bath and shower. Bed linen and towels provided.
Stairs lead up again to the second floor landing, which leads into a second light airy sitting room which overlooks the rooftops towards Clee Hill in the distance. It is furnished with two comfortable modern sofas, occasional tables, DVD and flat screen TV.
The airing cupboard is also on the top floor; this is also where the cushions for the patio chairs, spare bedding and blankets are kept.
A private patio area at the rear of the cottage offers a pleasant outdoor space for relaxing. It is furnished with a table and chairs, rotary drier and planters with a selection of herbs, which guests are welcome to use.
